Today’s post is a little different, I wanted to give you something more then just the outfit so I decided to bring you in a little tour of the city, this time we are in the Parco Sempione so you will be amazed by the Arco della Pace, The Civic Arena, the aquarium and of course… my outfit 😉

Il post di oggi è un po’ diverso, volevo darvi qualche cosa di più che “solo” l’outfit così ho deciso di portarvi virtualmente con me in un tour per la città, questa volta andiamo nel Parco Sempione così che possiate rimanere meravigliati dalla bellezza dell’arco della pace, dell’arena civica, dell’acquario e ovviamente…. del mio outfit 🙂

Arco della Pace from Corso Sempione. Corso Sempione is an ancient route that connect Milan with Paris
On the top of arch you can se the “sestigia”. It’s a charriot with six horses that brings the Goddes of Peace
This is a Milanese Tram… You can spot them even in San Francisco
Tie bar shirt, vintage Gucci leather jacket and a tie all in the same shade of colours
It’s a sports jacket… With patch pockets
And of course shoes and socks in the same shade of colours as well
This was intended as a triumphal entrance during the Napoleon era… Pity it wasn’t ready in time…

Did you know? When Milan was French the “Sestigia” was facing the France, then the Austrians conquered the city and they turned it the other way round….

To build put this statues up they used more than 300 men!!!
